After the announcement of their 2030 global corporate strategy, Global Finance at CSL Behring reached out to OTM to facilitate the development of a new strategy for their Finance function. The leaders in Finance wanted to ensure that the new strategy had practical relevance and day-to-day activation amongst all team members. They knew that they needed a collaborative process to get everyone on board.
Together with the Finance team, we developed a modern and pragmatic strategy that was properly aligned with the corporate strategy. A plan was developed with a strategic timeline to ensure deadlines were met and workshops completed efficiently. After all was said and done, the collaborative efforts and active participation that went into the development process led to highly successful results.
What transpired was a robust process that led to full awareness of strategy, daily activation, and a high level of relevance for all within the function. What was once an unclear and outdated strategy became a source of common ground and motivation amongst everyone, with an agile framework that will help the function navigate shifts in the future.
