Her experience spans internal consultancy (Volkswagen Group) and external consultancy (Accenture, Partners for Change and On The Mark).  She uses tactical change interventions to unblock individuals, teams or organisations to help them engage in change AND continuity at the same time.

Following her Degrees in Modern Languages and Business Administration, the first part of Laura’s career was spent working for the Volkswagen Group, finding her niche in the management of large-scale change projects.

Laura moved into external consulting at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) in Sweden and the UK.  Her initial work leveraged her automotive experience but eventually she was drawn into larger and larger IT and ERP projects.

Laura therefore chose to join Partners for Change where the work was more varied.  Although there was some ERP work, projects included more proper organisation design work. During this time, she led Partners for Change’s internal Change Management cell.

Laura joined On The Mark after meeting Mark LaScola and finding a kindred spirit – someone whose philosophy on socio-technical design was aligned with her own beliefs. As a senior consultant, she has been an integral project team member on engagements such as major turnarounds, global business unit organization designs and the redesign of a Swiss manufacturing operation.

On the “softer” side of change, she has been involved in running 360 degree feedback using Human Synergistics tools and internally-developed behavioural surveys.  In addition to standard facilitation and change management skills, Laura has trained in NLP, Whole Brain Thinking and Process Consultancy.

Laura is a qualified coach and has worked with graduate students and Executive Education clients at the London Business School.

She speaks English, Swedish, French and German and lives with her husband in Buckinghamshire.
